Our current summary comprises three NACE papers by Professors Robert J. Stango and Raymond A. Fournelle. They all investigate applications of Bristle Blasting technology for ABS-A steel, which is very widespread in shipbuilding. The illustrated papers show: Our Bristle Blaster® is capable of cleaning heavily corroded ABS-A steel (initial rust grade D). This results in a surface preparation grade comparable with SSPC-SP 10 (Sa 2½) and roughness levels of up to 105 µ Rz.
This summary concludes our series of online NACE paper summary publications. We hope that our NACE paper summaries have helped you become more familiar with the Bristle Blasting technology.
