Whitepaper Bristle Blasting

In an eight page white paper, which was published in the official organ of Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA), Robert J. Stango, Professor for Mechanical Engineering at Marquette University in Milwaukee/USA, introduced bristle blasting technology for removing corrosion while, at the same time, producing a rough surface profile. The white paper also contains many informative graphics.

A scientific white paper on the topic of bristle blasting was produced on the occasion of the specialist exhibition Corrosion 2010 in San Antonio/USA. The paper discussed the special suitability of the process for use on steels used in shipbuilding and includes a literature references section covering 16 pages.

A well illustrated example of use by Syntech, our partner in New Zealand. The example shows how the MBX® Bristle Blaster® has been used for the lower surface of the support structure of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, which is an eight lane motorway bridge leading over the Auckland City Harbour.
